How to Get Rid of Bacne
Acne can be found anywhere! You are extremely lucky if your acne only develops on your face because that means you do not have pimples on your back (acne on the back is often called “backnee” or “bacne”). It is true that the face
is usually considered the most visible part of the human body; that being said, it’s no fun to have annoying pimples on your back. Guys never know when they’ll have to take their shirt off to play basketball or go swimming. A lot of girl’s swimming apparel exposes the back these days. Pimples on the back can be unsightly and uncomfortable.
As acne sufferers we usually discuss how to deal with acne on the face, but not much is said about getting rid of bacne. Note that bacne is not really an official medical term. This webpage is dedicated to starting to get more information out there about how to take care of those pesky pimples on our backs. I’m hoping that you will submit comments below about how you manage your back pimples. Today I”ll share some of my all-natural ways for getting rid of bacne:
- Take a Bath At Least Once a Day. This is really not difficult to do if you only commit to it. However, I know a lot of people who seem to have not grasped the idea completely and they have both the stink (I’m so sorry, I’m not usually this mean) and the bacne to prove it. So like I said, take a bath every day and use mild soap too. Do not overdo it though because taking too many showers may also trigger excess oil production. Two showers a day is enough if you live an active lifestyle; just take one otherwise.
- Properly Wash Your Fabrics. Two things: when I say “fabrics”, I mean all your clothes and linens, and “properly” means washing them based on the fabrics’ specific washing instructions (no shortcuts!). This also means that you do not wear unwashed clothes because it could bring about a bacne attack. If you are wearing dirty clothes, then it won’t matter whether or not you are showering every day.
- Avoid Using Excessive Amounts of Hair Products. Hair products mixed with sweat and scalp oils can run down your back and that is how trouble starts. It’s a good idea to limit the amount of gel or hairspray you put in your hair (just be reasonable). It is also wise if you wash your hair regularly with shampoo when you take a bath and make sure all of those hair products wash off completely.
Those are just a few of my bacne-fighting tips and hopefully they are enough to get you back in your bikinis. Bacne down; love-handles to go! Have something else to say about how to get rid of bacne? Feel free to comment below.
